We are proud to offer the widest range of
shapes, sizes and colors of lanterns available online! Every
single one of our designs is custom-made for our exclusive
collection.
Our silk lanterns are handcrafted by Vietnamese
artisans using one of two different textures of silk (solid
or brocaded) shaped on a bamboo frame. Our product has a firmly
set history in a Vietnamese artisan town whose lantern-making
tradition dates more than five centuries.
Due to the fact that our items are hand-dyed
and crafted, variations in color and shade of the silk fabric
will normally occur, adding more character and individuality
to these decorative gift items. Each lantern is unique!
HOW TO ORDER
To purchase our silk lanterns online, please select a type
of lantern from the Shape Selector on the left side of this
page. Scroll down to the list of available colors and sizes
and click "Add to Cart" to purchase an item of your
choice.
If certain items are out of stock, one can still pre-order
them, but it may take longer for the items to arrive, often
up to 6-8 weeks. Please contact us if you have any questions
about the pre-ordering process.
If you are ready to purchase more than 20 lanterns, we may
be able to provide you with a volume discount. Please contact
us to discuss the details of your order.
We provide a standard, on-off, male-female cord ($9.95 optional
item at check-out), that easily plugs into any standard connection.
Bulbs and fixture not included.
We double-check all items before we ship them to you to make
sure they are in excellent condition. We guarantee lanterns
at time of packaging; we are not responsible for breakage
due to shipping.
We recommend using chandelier or candelabra bulbs, 20-25
watts. Small lanterns can take a minimum
7-10 watt bulb, and larger ones can
take up to 40 watts.
We will ship anywhere to the U.S. and Canada via UPS Standard
Ground Service. In-stock items should arrive within 2-3 weeks.
In the event of a delay, we will notify you via email.
Items may be returned within 14 days. Please send them back
to us with a copy of your invoice, in the original box and
via insured mail. Customer is responsible for shipping and
freight on all returned items. Please allow three weeks from
the day you return the package for your credit card account
to be credited. If you should desire to exchange your item,
please contact Customer Service.
